Can 5G be our only internet connection?

Yes. 5G and 4G LTE can be a permanent primary connection for an office, not just a backup. If you also need an availability commitment, we can pair cellular with fixed wireless or fiber.

Is 5G covered by your SLA?

No. 5G and 4G LTE are not covered by our availability commitment. Fixed wireless and fiber are: for SLA-backed services, we commit to at least 99.999% network availability, subject to the SLA.

How does 5G internet backup work?

We add a cellular connection alongside your main line. With SD-WAN, traffic moves to the connection that is working when the other has a problem, so the office stays online.

What is the difference between 5G and fixed wireless?

Both are wireless. 5x5 fixed wireless is a primary enterprise connection with low latency, built-in redundancy and the same SLA as our fiber. 5G and LTE use cellular networks and are not covered by the SLA, which makes them a good fit for backup, temporary sites or offices that do not need one.
